A/B test your campaign before it has any traffic
A live A/B test needs traffic, budget and time, and the losing version costs real money while it runs. A pre-launch test compares the two versions on a simulated audience first, so the live test starts with your strongest option.
How a pre-launch A/B test works
- Enter version A and version B.
- Pick the region and the audience.
- The same panel of personas evaluates both versions.
- You see which version wins, the margin, and the reasons given for each.
What you learn that a live test does not tell you
- Why the winner won. Each persona explains its choice, so you know which element made the difference and can carry it into the next version.
- Who each version works for. A version that loses overall can still win clearly in one segment. That is a targeting decision, not a failed idea.
- Whether the difference is real. A two-point gap on a small panel is noise. Ask more personas before acting on a narrow margin.
More than two versions
Multi-Compare evaluates three or four versions in one run. It is available on Business and above.
What it costs
A/B Comparison is included from the Pro plan ($149.99 a month, 200 credits). A comparison uses one credit per persona per version: 50 personas on two versions is 100 credits.
Questions
Does this replace live A/B testing?
No. It decides what is worth testing live. Once you have traffic, real behaviour is the final measure.
How different do the two versions need to be?
Test one meaningful change at a time: the offer, the headline or the angle. If two versions differ in five ways, the result cannot tell you which change mattered.
Which plan includes A/B comparison?
Pro and above. Pro is $149.99 a month with 200 credits.
